Find Luke or Addy or Jack
They're funny. It appears all of them and their grandpa (previous post) were having similar feelings about family pictures. Oddly enough I don't have any of my brother's family. I think it was because Whitney was taking pictures too.

Family
There was a miracle on Lake St. this year. The second try was a charm and the infrequent hazy conditions of Southern California happened to cooperate with us. I can't say as much for my father. Hee hee. Luckily we got this done without anyone committing an act of violence on the photographer. Turns out the hardest picture to take is the one I am supposed to be in. It's not perfect....but it's mine!
Oh...and here is my father seeking penance for his less than positive and unenthusiastic attitude about family pictures. Excessive minimalization is being utilized in said description of my father's disposition just prior to this image being snapped. I am not sure forgiveness has been granted yet.

Perfect Family Photos
They are elusive sometimes, but I guess it depends on your definition of perfect. I remember my own family photo my mother attempted to get done in 1985. All eight of us moving in one direction was no easy feat. As we were "calmly" (typed with sarcasm) backing out of the driveway, my father ran over someone's bike that had been left out. My father proceeded to screech to a halt, pick up the smashed bike, and throw it in the backyard. Needless to say....photo evidence indicates not one person was smiling that year. It has been the source of much laughter in my family as we review the events. It is now is one of my favorite family photos because of all the funny memories attached. Perhaps I will scan it and post it some day.
I have a favorite here.....and it's not the "perfect" one. Dad at the end of his rope, one child screaming, one child looking at the cat, and Mom smiling calmly through it all. Perfectly priceless.
This is definitely my version of the perfect family memory made....which will be the source of much laughter for years to come. At least it has been in my family.

Little Girls
Little Italian girls are too cute for words. Their dark hair and eyes are more than I can take. I think their dad has some stressful teenage years ahead of him don't you think. Red dresses and Tutu sets can be found at SofiStella.
