One Last Thing

If you ever make it to Leeland, MI….you must go to Fish Town and have a sandwich here.  Unfortunately, I had already eaten somewhere less desirable and could only fantasize about whether or not the sandwiches were as good as they looked.  I cant wait to go back specifically for this reason.  Yes.  I WILL make a special trip.

So I thought taking a tour of northern Michigan (Traverse City) would be good idea….for photographing the blossoms.  It seems I found so much more to document.  And yes….Michigan is full of white sandy beaches.  And the fresh water is divine.  You’re all invited to visit!

While skipping rocks I found a fossil!  I was just as excited as I was at 4th grade camp when I found  an arrowhead.  I thought it appropriate at the time to leave it in its natural habitat.  I am little sad about that “good” decision now. 

 

Blossoms of every kind were in bloom.  It was a beautiful weekend looking for the things I often don’t really see.  I thought I would share.
